Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a representative from Buffle Safaris & Tours will meet you. Depending on your arrival time, you will either be taken to your hotel in the city or begin your drive to the Great Rift Valley and on to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge, where you will have lunch and then head out for an evening game drive. The park is internationally famous as a sanctuary for both Black and White rhinos. You will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha After a leisurely breakfast, you'll have one final game drive in Lake Nakuru before departing for the nearby Lake Naivasha. You will check in at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge or a similar luxury lodge, where you will have lunch and the rest of the afternoon to relax. You will then have the option to visit Crescent Island, where you can enjoy a walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and various antelopes. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara After an early breakfast, you will drive to the world-renowned Maasai Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge or a similar luxury lodge. In the afternoon, you will embark on an exhilarating game drive to track elephants, lions, leopards, and buffaloes. You will drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day in Maasai Mara Enjoy an early morning breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. On this day, you will venture deep into the heart of the Mara, with a drive to the Hippo Pool where you can take a break from the vehicle to watch hippos and crocodiles. The day is yours to explore the park and its incredible wildlife at your leisure. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 5: Maasai Mara to Nairobi After an early morning breakfast, you have the option to visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience (at an extra cost). You will then check out of the lodge and begin your drive back to Nairobi, stopping in Narok town for lunch. You will arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
